Most landing pages don't fail because of their colors. They fail because the visitor can't quickly answer three questions: Am I in the right place? What do I get? What do I do next?
1. Match the message that brought them here
If your ad promises a free roof inspection, the headline should say free roof inspection. Visitors decide in seconds whether a page is relevant, and mismatched wording creates doubt.
2. Make one primary ask
Every extra link is an exit. Remove the main navigation where it makes sense and repeat the same call to action down the page.
3. Keep forms short
- Ask only for what you need to follow up
- Use clear labels, not placeholder-only fields
- Show helpful, specific error messages
- Tell people what happens after they submit
4. Earn trust honestly
Use genuine reviews, licenses and guarantees you can stand behind. Invented numbers or testimonials damage trust — and can violate advertising rules.
5. Respect the mobile visitor
Test on a real phone. Large tap targets, readable text and a fast first load are non-negotiable for paid traffic.
